Acden Awarded ‘2018 Indigenous Employer of the Year’
FORT MCMURRAY, AB – September 19, 2019 – Acden was honoured with the 2018 Indigenous Employer of the Year award at the Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Awards of Excellence ceremony on September 13, 2019.
The Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training Board’s Top Employer of Indigenous Apprentices Award provides formal recognition of employers demonstrating a strong support of apprenticeship training. This award recognizes outstanding commitment to recruiting and training Indigenous apprentices, helping to strengthen and diversify the apprenticeship and industry training system, now and into the future.

Recipients of this award are nominated by members of the Alberta Indigenous Apprenticeship Project team.
