Workplaces can show cultural pride on June 27
The Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo invites workplaces around our region to show their cultural pride this June 27th by encouraging staff to wear cultural attire to work to mark Canadian Multiculturalism Day 2019.
The MCA would like to remind everyone that “cultural attire” is not limited to ethno-cultural traditional clothing, but can include things such as sports culture, musical culture, workplace culture, and LGBTQ+ culture, just to name a few.
We encourage people to think about what it is that makes up their cultural identity, and to wear their attires to work on June 27. We want to see your cultural pride!
Post a team photo on social media with the hashtag #MultiDayYMM and tag us @mca4wb (Multicultural Association of Wood Buffalo) to be entered into a draw to win a free 2-hour Cultural Awareness Training for your organization or business (for up to 20 participants — a $500 value!)
Contact Leah at events@mcawb for more information about this campaign.
Thank you for helping us celebrate the vibrant cultures that exist within the Wood Buffalo Region.
