The Best of Northern Alberta exhibition to be showcased at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery
The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park is pleased to present to the community a new exhibition titled The Best of Northern Alberta.
The Alberta Society of Artists invited artists residing in the Northern region of Alberta to submit to the exhibition, Best of Northern Alberta. The juried, open-themed exhibition to reach more rural areas of the province. This exhibition follows The Best of East Central Alberta and The Best of Southwestern Alberta. Each juried open-themed exhibition showcases and promotes visual artists of the particular region. The Alberta Society of Artists' mandate is to foster and promote the visual arts in Alberta and to endorse the recognition of Alberta artists throughout our province.
The Opening Reception for The Best of Northern Alberta takes place at 7 p.m. on March 7 at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery located in the Suncor Community Leisure Centre at MacDonald Island Park. Light refreshments will be served, a cash bar will be available and all community members are invited to attend. The Best of Northern Alberta exhibition will be available for viewing until March 28.
