Summer Sounds FM 2019 Concert Series heats up with Multi-Award-Winning Music Powerhouse: Carrie Underwood

The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo will be welcoming Carrie Underwood’s The Cry Pretty Tour, with special guests Maddie & Tae and Runaway June, to SMS Equipment Stadium at Shell Place on Thursday May 30, 2019, for a once in a life-time headlining show as part of the Summer Sounds FM 2019 Concert Series.

Carrie Underwood emerged from the promise of her 2005 American Idol win to become a true multi-format, multi-media superstar, spanning achievements in music, television, and film. A seven-time GRAMMY® Award winner, she has sold 64 million records worldwide and recorded 26 #1 singles, 13 of which she co-wrote. Carrie released her sixth studio album, Cry Pretty, on September 14 on Capitol Records. The album debuted at No. 1 on both the Billboard 200 and Top Country Album Charts and is the biggest all-genre debut by a female in 2018.

Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 21, 2018. $1 from each ticket sold will be donated to Danita’s Children, which provides a safe haven for abandoned and vulnerable children in Haiti, while encouraging families to stay together through their education and malnutrition programs.
