2018 Community Registration Day presented by Syncrude adds free children’s activities
The region is invited to kick-start the fall season with Community Registration Day presented by Syncrude on Saturday, September 8. New to this annual event is the addition of free children’s activities.
Community Registration Day presented by Syncrude is a trade show format showcase of community-based organizations. Social profit organizations and groups, the non- and not-for-profit sector and minor sports representatives join forces in one location to provide residents information on program registration, volunteer positions and other community involvement opportunities.
This year attendees can join MacDonald Island Park mascot, Mac the Fox, at Community Registration Day presented by Syncrude for free popsicles, barbecue provided by Enbridge, bouncy castles, face painters, balloons and more. The Wood Buffalo Food Bank will be on-site and attendees are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item.
The event takes place September 8, 12 – 4 p.m., in the Shell Place Turf Fieldhouse.
