Celebrate the end of Summer at the Urban Market
Mark your calendars! The Fort McMurray Urban Market is hosting an End of Summer Party on Wednesday, August 29.
- Where: Jubilee Plaza (9909 Franklin Avenue)
- When: 11 a.m. - 6 p.m.
“The Fort McMurray Urban Market is the perfect way to say goodbye to summer,” said Arndis Arnold, Market Manager. “Bring the entire family down to Jubilee Plaza to enjoy a wide-range of entertainment, while you shop for fresh fruit, veggies and market goods!”
The End of Summer Party will feature carnival games, face painting, roving entertainment, live music and plenty of market vendors.
Please note, MacDonald Avenue behind Jubilee Plaza will be closed from 7 a.m. - 8 p.m. on August 29, 2018 to make room for the End of Summer Party. Hardin Street and Main Street will not be impacted by the road closure.

The Fort McMurray Urban Market is hosted by the Fort McMurray Urban Market Community Committee, which is made up of the Arts Council Wood Buffalo, Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, Nistawoyou Friendship Centre, Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo and Wood Buffalo Artisans.
