New Ticketing Options Available for Baseball Canada 18 National Championship Presented by Pepsi
The Organizing Committee for the upcoming Baseball Canada 18U National Championship Presented by Pepsi, a partnership between the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo (RRC) and the Fort McMurray Minor Baseball Association (FMMBA), is pleased to announce Day Passes and Suites for the tournament taking place in Wood Buffalo from August 16-19 are now on sale.
The 2018 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship Presented by Pepsi will see ten teams of athletes aged 18 and under visit Wood Buffalo to participate in the national event, including a local Fort McMurray host team who will be competing in the tournament.
Throughout the tournament, 28 games will take place between the Baseball Stadium at Shell Place located at MacDonald Island Park and Ross Hennigar Ball Park in Thickwood.
“We are excited to release this next series of tickets as we see the anticipation building with athletes and fans in our community.” said Michael Marousek, Committee Co-Chair and Sport & Wellness Manager for the RRC. “These two new ticketing options provide fans with more access, features and flexibility to enjoy this caliber of competitive play and game entertainment throughout the tournament.”
Day Passes and Suites for the 2018 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship Presented by Pepsi, are available as follows:
Day Passes:
- Adult $19 plus fees & taxes
- Seniors (60+) $14 plus fees & taxes
- Youth 7-17 $14 plus fees & taxes
- Children 6 & under Free
Suites:
- Suite rental for entire tournament (max 25 guests) $1,750 plus fees & taxes
“It’s a great opportunity for fans here in Wood Buffalo to enjoy a suite experience at Shell Place Baseball Stadium.” said Kevin Breen, 2018 Baseball Canada 18U National Championship Committee Co-Chair and President of the FMMBA. “Suites provide sweeping views of the stadium and host a maximum of 25 guests, with optional access to food and beverages. During the tournament, suites are available for all games held at Shell Place, including the much anticipated bronze, and gold medal games!”
