QUADHigh Exhibition at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery

(1 Vote)

The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park is pleased to welcome the QUADHigh Art Exhibition at the gallery at Suncor Community Leisure Centre this month.

The QUADHigh Exhibition, an annual event with deep roots in the Fort McMurray community, has been celebrated for over 2 decades. Originally named the Tri High Exhibition, the event grew into the QUADHigh Exhibition with the addition of a new high school in the community in 2016. Since then, Art departments from Holy Trinity Catholic High School, Fort McMurray Composite High School, Westwood Community High School, and Father Mercredi Community High School come together each year to showcase outstanding student artworks created during the 2017 / 2018 school year. The artworks include a variety of different mediums, styles and techniques, giving insight into the creative minds of our future.

“The Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo is pleased to showcase the work of talented young artists from Fort McMurray Catholic School District and Fort McMurray Public School District.” said Rachel Orser, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “It is our pleasure to host this collective student exhibition once again this year!”.

The QUADHigh exhibition will be available for viewing from May 31 2018 – June 14 2018.
