Help the Centre of Hope give light to homelessness in our community by giving up your bed for one night of “sleeping rough”. Hope in the Dark is a night of knowledge, sharing, and making a difference. Although this event is geared towards raising awareness of a serious issue facing our community; it is also a fun evening that you can enjoy with your family, friends or coworkers. Spend the night with your fellow community members sharing a meal, enjoying presentations and live music, fun activities, face painting, adult and child sized inflatables, all while gaining a new perspective of what it is to experience homelessness in our community.

The event will also include Movie in the Park Presented by Suncor. We will be Showing 2 movies, one for children & one later in the night for “Sleeping Rough”.

This event is going to be a fantastic evening for you and your family. Whether you coming to enjoy all our activities, or spending the night outside, we hope that you will gain a stronger perspective on what it is like to live in homelessness in this region.

Registration for a family is $25.00 for “Sleeping Rough”

Registration for an organization, business, or special groups is by Pledges for “Sleeping Rough”

If you are looking to come spend the evening without Sleeping Rough its entry by donation.

Sleeping arrangements include: boxes, tents, sleeping bags, self-made shelters (Please bring your own sleeping bags and tarps). Cardboard will be supplied.

This year’s event proceeds will be going towards supporting our Intake & Outreach.

$50.00 you get to sleep with cardboard!
$75.00 you get to sleep with self-made shelter
$100.00 you get to sleep with a pillow & sleeping a bag
$165.00 and over you get to sleep with a tent!
