Have your say: Winter Maintenance Zones survey and engagement sessions
The Municipality is inviting residents to have their say about Winter Maintenance Zones through a survey and a series of public engagement sessions.
Starting today until May 13, residents can fill out an online survey and share their feedback about the Winter Maintenance Zones program during the 2017-18 season. The Municipality will also be hosting a series of public engagement sessions to provide information, answer questions, share the survey, and listen to what residents have to say about Winter Maintenance Zones.
Fill out the online survey at rmwb.ca/snowplow anytime between Apr. 18 and May 13.
Residents are also invited to attend the following public engagement sessions:
YMCA Thickwood (221 Tundra Dr.):
- April 25: 4 - 8 p.m.
McMurray Experience (9909 Franklin Ave.):
- April 26: 1 - 5 p.m.
Fort McMurray Tourism Spring Trade Show & Market – MacDonald Island Park (1 C.A. Knight Way):
- April 27: 1 - 9 p.m.
- April 28: 10 a.m. – 7 p.m.
- April 29: 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.
The information gathered from residents will be used to assess the program and to drive potential service improvements. A summary of survey results will be shared with Mayor and Council, as well as the public.
