Municipality announces Regional Responder – Your Seasonal Safety Resource
The Municipality has released the first issue of Regional Responder, a new seasonal safety resource featuring stories, updates and resources from the agencies that keep Wood Buffalo safe.
“Safety is a top priority for everyone in our region,” said Mayor Don Scott. “Regional Responder is an excellent source for all the information you need to keep safe in Wood Buffalo throughout the year.”
Regional Responder will be published each season to share what’s happening in the region with respect to safety. Look for volunteer opportunities, events, resources and information about how you can stay safe and help others stay safe too. Residents are also invited to provide feedback and provide suggestions for topics, questions or themes to be covered in the publications.
Agencies contributing to Regional Responder include the Wood Buffalo RCMP, Bylaw Services, Regional Emergency Services, Victim Services, Crime Stoppers, and Fort McMurray Search and Rescue.
