ACTING OUT! ADULT ONE ACT PLAY FESTIVAL RESULTS

The ADFA North Zone organizing committee is proud to present the recipients of the awards at this year's Regional Festival, with the winner of Outstanding Production representing our region at the Provincial Festival on May 25-26, 2018 at Keyano Recital Theatre!

• Outstanding Technical Achievement: "Not I" directed by Dave Boutilier
• Outstanding Actor: Justin Shaw. as Tula in "Mooda & Tula Go Camping"
• Outstanding Actress: Pattie Dwyer. as Mooda in "Mooda & Tula Go Camping"
• Outstanding Director: Hanna Fridhed. for "Roll Over, Beethoven"
• Outstanding Production: "Mooda & Tula Go Camping" written by, directed by and featuring Pattie Dwyer and Justin Shaw

Thank you to all participating groups, for your hard and beautiful work on these productions! We are proud of the creativity and talent showcased at the festival. A special thank you to our presenting partner Keyano Theatre & Arts Centre, your support is invaluable. We hope you all join us to cheer for our local production at the Provincial Festival, where Outstanding Productions from all regions across Alberta meet in Fort McMurray, for the first time in 10 years, to showcase their talent on May 25 - 26, 2018!

About the ADFA: The Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) is a non-profit umbrella organization for adult amateur drama activity in the province of Alberta. Ten different regions of the province each organize an annual Regional One Act Play Festival where local theatre artists are given the opportunity to independently produce and showcase their work. From these festivals, one production is chosen by an adjudicator to represent each region at the annual Provincial One Act Play Festival.
