Municipality Seeks Public Input on Policing Priorities

The Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo is seeking input from the public on their priorities for policing in the next fiscal year. In order to collect this information a survey has been created for residents to express their opinions. These results will be used to align the Wood Buffalo RCMP’s policing priorities with those of the public.

The Fort McMurray and Fort Chipewyan RCMP detachments establish annual policing priorities that focus on issues identified by the public. The Wood Buffalo RCMP establishes these priorities to help provide quality services in partnership with the community they serve.
