ADULT ONE ACT THEATRE FESTIVAL OPEN FOR SUBMISSIONS
The ADFA North Zone is now accepting submissions for Acting Out - One Act Theatre Festival, our 2018 regional play festival!
We provide the venue, audience, and adjudicator; you provide the play, director, actors and set. Plays must be between 10 and 60 minutes long, with a majority adult ensemble. The Regional Festival, hosted by the Alberta Drama Festival Association, will take place on Saturday, March 24, 2018, at the Keyano Recital Theatre. To enter your play, visit www.adfa.ca. The ADFA North Zone is accepting submissions until February 11. The Adult One Act Play Festivals provide local amateur theatre artists with an opportunity to showcase their work and for the region’s vibrant arts community to explore new ideas. Everyone is welcome to submit, no experience is necessary.
Keep up with the ADFA North Zone on Facebook, Twitter, and Instagram for information, news, and behind the scenes content!
About the ADFA: The Alberta Drama Festival Association (ADFA) is a non-profit umbrella organization for adult amateur drama activity in the province of Alberta. Ten different regions of the province each organize an annual Regional One Act Play Festival where local theatre artists are given the opportunity to independently produce and showcase their work. From these festivals, one production is chosen by an adjudicator to represent each region at the annual Provincial One Act Play Festival. For the first time in 10 years, Fort McMurray will host the provincial festival at the Keyano Recital Theatre May 27-28, 2018.
