The Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery at MacDonald Island Park is pleased to welcome the Positive Vibes exhibition to the gallery in the Suncor Community Leisure Centre this month.

Positive Vibes is a solo exhibition by local artist Renee Manners based on showcasing positive messages and vibrations through the color and warmth of her artwork.  Manners tapped into her very own personal life story to deliver a visual journey that provides a positive message and energy to viewers.  The exhibition explores her personal path of grief, healing and recovery, leading ultimately to her message of emotional understanding by focusing on the power of positivity. The exhibition brings together Manners’ varied art works and presents a range of colorful displays that she hopes will leave viewers with an inspirational creative energy.

“We are excited to showcase our very own talented local artist Renee Manners and feature a collection of her personal works in the gallery.” said Rachel Orser, Interim Chief Executive Officer of the Regional Recreation Corporation of Wood Buffalo. “We are very proud that the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery provides us the opportunity to showcase and display artwork for the entire community to enjoy. We are pleased to bring forth the positivity that Manners is presenting for her viewers!”.

The opening reception for the Positive Vibes exhibition will take place at 7:00 pm on Thursday, February 8th at the Kirschner Family Community Art Gallery. Light refreshments will be served and all community members are invited to attend. The Positive Vibes exhibition will be available for viewing from February 5th 2018 – March 22nd 2018.
