“To me, success means creating a business that empowers customers, employees, and community in equal measure. I want to add positive value to people’s lives, from a personal and professional standpoint.”

For Hany Aly, the belief that many people don’t see their full potential in life is what motivates him to invest in those people. He focuses on empowering and strengthening his friends and family so that they can walk away from any difficult position in life.

“I’m a huge believer in investing in people,” he shared. “I value people, and I take such joy in being a part of their journey.”

Hany’s investment in people extends to his business, 4 Seasons Moving & Transport. As president, he defines success as meeting a combination of business and personal goals and helping his team to do the same.

“I believe that goals motivate us to push ourselves and grow. And, as a result of meeting such goals, we not only help build the company, but we also build more effective employees that can contribute to even greater growth in the future,” he said.

“As a leader, I want my team to feel capable of achieving their goals, as well as the company’s objectives. I make it a priority to help them every day meet their individualized milestones.”

With a fast-growing business, Hany has set his sights on becoming the number one choice for moving, transport, and towing in Alberta, anticipating expanding to cross-country moves in the coming year.

“I am in the process of hiring local, quality staff with strong leadership abilities, at both of my current locations in Fort McMurray and Edmonton so that I can take some time to focus on myself and my personal life goals,” he shared.

Although the COVID-19 has presented some unexpected challenges this year, Hany has viewed it as an opportunity to slow down.

“Slowing down has forced me to look at what I want out of life and what is important to me. It has helped me readjust my priorities,” he said.

“It made me realize that, although I am one hundred percent dedicated to my business, I need to be one hundred percent dedicated to myself and my family and my vision of being a dedicated partner and parent in the future.”
