Behind the Scenes with the Fort McMurray Boys & Girls Club
The Fort McMurray Boys & Girls Club (FMBGC) is a non-profit agency and a registered charity. The Club has been serving the children and youth of Fort McMurray since 1981 by providing a safe and fun place to learn, play and grow.
Our expert staff offer guidance, care and mentoring for children aged one to 18. Our mission is “To provide a safe, supportive place where children and youth can experience new opportunities, overcome barriers, build positive relationships and develop confidence and skills for life”.
Our childcare programs are licensed, accredited and certified for inclusive care. Although Boys & Girls Clubs provide lower cost childcare options and financial assistance where available, they are open to all individuals seeking quality care.
The FMBGC’s main programs are:
Tiny Toes Daycare: For children aged 12 months to Kindergarten (contact Erika, firstname.lastname@example.org)
ZAP Out of School Care and Camps: For children aged 4.5 to 12 (contact Grace, email@example.com)
Limitless Youth: Inclusive youth programs for youth aged 13-17 (contact Ashley, firstname.lastname@example.org)
What does the FMBGC do?
