CAT JONES
“When you live in a community where you feel supported, you feel compelled to help support others. It really is a beautiful cycle.”
“I love my job. I help businesses understand what their marketing needs are and what to do about them.” Cat has been here since February 2009, working for Harvard Broadcasting (Mix 103.7 and 100.5 Cruz) In addition to being a Rotarian and serving on the board of Big Brothers Big Sisters, Cat has volunteered at too many radio events to be counted.
“Being involved in the community is part of my job and I take it very seriously,” she said. “I loved being involved with Big Brothers Big Sisters the most. I was on the committee for the first wine auction and to see how that has kept going as a viable fundraiser is wonderful. We put a lot of time into that. I’m glad it paid off.”
Cat took a small step back from her volunteer work to raise her family, but now she’s ready to jump back in again. She’s a people person and that’s one of the reasons why she loves YMM - the people are incredible. From the social profit sector and the business to even the Mothers on the Mommy network. Everyone is so willing to help whether it be volunteering their time, donating money or even just supporting others in need. This community rallies together like no other. When you live in a community where you feel supported, you feel compelled to help support others. It really is a beautiful cycle.” And we’re glad Cat is part of that cycle.
