40-year-old Bryce Kumka is a partner and senior account executive for commercial insurance for Rogers Insurance Ltd.
Bryce holds the position of President of the Fort McMurray Chamber of Commerce, and has been on the Board of Directors for the past six years, serving on several initiatives and committees.
He is the currently also on the Board of Directors United Way of Fort McMurray, and sits on the Board of Directors of Changes Supported Living Services, a non-profit organization that provides community-based residential, supported, and independent living services to over 600 mentally challenged adults.
Bryce sits on the Fort McMurray Airport Authority Business Advisory Council, is a board member for Local H.E.R.O. (Helicopter Emergency Response Organization) foundation, providing 24-hour-per-day medivac support to Northeastern Alberta.
He is also the chair of the Land Planning and Development Committee for the Regional Municipality of Wood Buffalo.
He is member of the Rotary Club of Fort McMurray and a past president. He has held an executive position for the past six years. Bryce is also a Paul Harris Fellow.
Married to Lee-Anne, Bryce has three kids: Addison, Morley and Rayne. When he’s not volunteering on multiple boards and committees, he enjoys woodworking home renovations, and fishing.
As a resident of Wood Buffalo who is committed to serving the community, Bryce is very deserving of his spot on YMM’s Top 50 Under 50.
