The 2017 We Scare Hunger Campaign
The 2017 We Scare Hunger Campaign in Fort McMurray just wrapped up and a whopping 3000 lbs of food was collected for the Wood Buffalo Food Bank.
On November 3rd, Fort McMurray students filled F-150s with food collected throughout the month of October at NorthStar Ford Lincoln and by students from Gladys Hill School and Holy Trinity School.
The WE Scare Hunger programs collects non-perishable food items to support the Wood Buffalo Food Bank and raise awareness about local hunger which continues to rise.
Ford of Canada is proud to sponsor WE Scare Hunger in Canada and believes in the power of coming together – proving that when we work together, we can achieve extraordinary things.
Since 2014, Ford dealers have worked in communities across the country to raise donations to support local food banks and have collected 625,000 LBS of food reaching food banks in need.
