The team at Balsom Communications loves Christmas. Like, really loves Christmas. It could be because our beautiful city is decorated so festively. It could be because there are so many amazing holiday events to
attend. It could be because it’s the time of year that draws us all close to one another, kicking off the festive fun with our annual holiday party. Or it could be a combination of all those things.
In years past we’ve put together a printed Holiday Guide, but this year we decided to do something fresh. This digital YMM Xmas is Christmas-centric. It’s full of the things that, for us, are nostalgic and warm...perfect for the cold wintery nights here in the North.
On these pages you’ll find a shop-local gift guide, including some amazing local charities who could use all of our support. Mike Jones has put together a must-view Christmas movie advent calendar, a calendar of holiday events to keep you in the Christmas spirit all season long, and a couple of our most favourite holiday recipes! As well, Anthony Hoffman has written an incredibly beautiful piece that will warm even the
coldest of hearts.
