The 6th Annual Anti-Bully Event
A record breaking 23 local companies contributed to this event and over 200 guests were in attendance, completely selling out all sponsorship opportunities and tickets. VIP guests were treated to a red carpet reception at the Stonebridge Hotel, sponsored by Birch Mountain Enterprises, prior to the highly anticipated show.
Local celebrity ICEIS Rain told her story of being abused and bullied, as she thanked guests for attending. “Everyone has been bullied in one form or the other. By being here tonight you are starting the process of change and making a difference in so many lives,” said ICEIS prior to her performance.
It was a night for everyone to be themselves. Amongst the classy black and white theme, guests received VIP treatment with all evening cocktail service right at their tables. National recording artists Leanne Goose, Rellik, ICEIS Rain, and Will Belcourt joined by local artists Andrew Coish, Marlee L’hirondelle, Chantelle Schmitt and Pandora, blew the crowd away with outstanding performances. Local performer Coco Diamond had everyone in stitches with several comedic performances. Overall, guests were treated to an amazing night of laughter, fun, and entertainment, all in support of a great cause.
In the spirit of the event ICEIS Safety will also be providing the Wood Buffalo Wellness Society with $10,000 in complementary job readiness training and $10,000 worth of winter parkas and bibs to help homeless people in need this winter.
Event organizers would like to send a huge thank you to everyone who made this event possible. Plans are already in the works for an even bigger show in 2016.
