Podollan Pub’s Mixology

YMM asked local Podollon Pub bartender Renee Petrie to whip us up one of her favourite drinks to celebrate the launch of the first issue and she came up with a delicious martini – the Wagon Wheel. Check out how to make it for your friends at home, or stop by the Podollon Pub any night of the week. Asked why she loves working at the Podollan, Renee says “it’s a fun atmosphere, with a fantastic vibe that compliments that drive and ambition of the hard-working and fun-seeking nature of YMM residents.”

Ingredients:

  • Chilled martini glass
  • Shaker tin with lots of ice
  • ½ ounce raspberry vodka
  • ½ ounce Chambord liquor
  • ¼ ounce crème de cacao
  • ¾ ounce peppermint schnapps

Shake all together vigorously, strain into the chilled martini glass and let a few ice cubes fall through. Garnish with a lemon wedge.
